Husband, Father, Inspirational Speaker

My name is Carter Morris. I’m a husband, father, inspirational speaker and most importantly a follower of Jesus. At 14 years old I was diagnosed with a rare form of Muscular Dystrophy known as FSHD. In short this form of muscular dystrophy will slowly eat away at the skeletal muscles overtime. Currently there are no treatments, no therapies or cures.

Since being diagnosed I have come to realize that adversity is not something meant to break us, but to shape and mold us into the person that God has intended us to be. Allowing life’s hardships to break you is a choice. You can either choose to see your current circumstance as a ball and chain that is holding you down, or you can choose to see it as a weapon to spread hope.
